The BLACK BOX High-Density Media Converter System II makes it easy to consolidate multiple media converters in a single platform at a central point in your application. All you have to do is choose a chassis with the number of interconnections that you require for your site and specify your plug-in modules. Hot-swappable modules are available for converting copper to fiber, extending vDSL links, controlling bandwidth, and more. All modules offer easy installation, you just slide them in until seated firmly against the chassis backplane and tighten a screw. Choose managed or unmanaged chassis. The High-Density Media Converter System II includes managed chassis in 3-, 6-, and 20-slot sizes and unmanaged chassis in 2-slot desktop sizes. This versatile system enables you to build in management where it's needed, while still enabling you to establish simple, unmanaged links in less critical areas. Most chassis are available with single or dual AC or DC power supplies. To keep your chassis running in mission-critical applications, order redundant power supplies.
